Jared Mandel
Jared Mandel is the owner of Jared Mandel Architect P.C. . Starting his career graduating from Pratt Institute School of Architecture in 2004 and interning under Ramirez Architects and Kean Development prior to the start of his practice. His continued passion for Architecture has lead into a growing firm that is approaching 14 years in practice. Jared and his team continuously work on personalizing each project with an intimate design process that captures each clients individual needs. The attention to details has not only lead to many successful projects, but his title as building supervisor for the East Williston Building department. Jared’s desire to continuously learn and treat everyday life as an open minded exploration feeds his creativity in the fast pace changing design environment.
Nick Gagliardi
Nick graduated from New York Institute of Technology in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. He has over ten years experience in Design and Construction and has since been responsible for completing a diverse range of Residential and Commercial projects across Long Island & NYC. At Jared Mandel Architects, he designs, manages and oversees multiple projects, interacting with all members of the project team while being involved at the construction phase to see the project come to life. He believes hard work, motivation and dedication along with strong teamwork is the key to delivering a successful project. While working on becoming a licensed architect, Nick also enjoys spending time with his family.
Caitlyn Mandel
Caitlyn Mandel has worked on accounting and administration with Mandel Architects for over 10 years. Caitlyn has a Bachelor’s Degree from Queens College and has continued her general field practice since earning her degree. At Mandel Architects she helps keep general office organization, direct communications between colleagues and customers, organize schedules and events, enter data, bookkeeping and generally maintaining the office.
Michael Lapinski
Michael is a project manager and has been with Jared Mandel Architects since January 2017. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from NYIT in 2016. As a project manager Michael is in charge of a wide range of projects from schematic design up to creating construction documents for building department filing, all while making sure projects are moving forward in a timely fashion. Michael strives to make every phase of the architectural process as seamless as possible for our clients
Michael is also a Class 2 filing representative which allows him to file architectural projects at the NYC Department of buildings. He is currently working towards becoming a licensed architect. In his free time Michael enjoys playing golf and softball.
Althea Seno
Althea, with her Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master’s in Interior Design, brings an open perspective and expertise that complements every project she takes on at JMA. Her passion and ambition drive her from schematic design to the creation of captivating 3D models and renders, helping clients’ dreams come alive. She thrives on collaboration, always seeking the best solutions for clients, and her commitment to continuous learning paves the way for her journey towards becoming a licensed architect and interior designer.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys hobbies including reading, boxing, and volleyball.
Melina Tsinoglou
Melina is currently a 3rd year student at New York Institute of Technology getting a Bachelor in Architecture. Since interning at Jared Mandel Architects, she has taken on the responsibility of creating realistic 3D models and renders for clientele to visualize their future home with skills she is presently learning at NYIT. Upon graduation, Melina plans on becoming a licensed architect. In her free time, she enjoys modeling homes and developing new art projects.
Hilary Yang
Hilary graduated with a Bachelor of Architectural Technology from the New York City College of Technology in 2024. She’s passionate about creating functional spaces that connect people to their environment and loves working on modern residential architecture. At the firm, she focuses on drafting and 2D drawings but also has strong skills in 3D modeling, Photoshop, and rendering.
Hilary is excited to keep growing as a designer, expanding her skills, and contributing to projects that inspire positive change in the built environment.
Andrew Lam
Andrew graduated from The Cooper Union in 2023 with a Bachelor of Architecture. At Jared Mandel Architects, he helps projects come to life by creating construction documents and developing project specifications, ensuring design intent is communicated throughout the construction phase. He believes outstanding projects are achieved through attention to detail, collaboration, and hard work. In his free time Andrew enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music, and being active.
