The Principal

Founder & Principal Architect
Jared Mandel is the founder and principal of Jared Mandel Architect P.C., a design-focused architectural practice dedicated to creating distinctive, thoughtfully designed spaces tailored to each client’s individual vision.
A 2004 graduate of Pratt Institute School of Architecture, Jared began his career working with prestigious architectural firms, developing a strong foundation in design, construction, and project execution before becoming a licensed architect and establishing his own practice.
With nearly two decades of experience leading Mandel Architects, Jared remains personally involved in the creative direction and overall execution of the firm’s projects. Working closely with architectural designers, project managers, and specialized consultants, he guides the design process from initial concepts through construction, ensuring that each project reflects the firm’s commitment to thoughtful design, attention to detail, and personalized service.
In addition to his private architectural practice, Jared serves as the Superintendent of Buildings for both the Village of East Williston and the Village of Roslyn Estates. These leadership roles reflect his extensive knowledge of building regulations, construction practices, and municipal oversight, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the built environment.
Driven by a genuine passion for architecture and a belief that creativity comes from continuous learning, Jared approaches each project with curiosity, an open mind, and a commitment to exploring new ideas. His hands-on leadership and personal connection with clients remain central to the philosophy of Mandel Architects.
